Don't buy UAG's METROPOLIS SERIES IPAD AIR 10.9" (4TH GEN, 2020) casing!

Update (5 November 2020)

Day after I contacted UAG customer support, they attended to my request and aware of the issue now. They explained the incident was due to the model has run out of stock (I wonder how wise is that to decide to ship out a flawed one at the first place).

They promised to send a replacement to me once it's back in stock.

TL;DR 

Don't fall into this trap of buying inferior product from UAG! I'm one of the victim, don't be the next one! (Yes, UAG an usually popular rugged casing brand)


How's that happened?

I just got my iPad Air 4 (2020) lately, and hoping to get a rugged casing for it. I was a happy customer who have been happily using UAG rugged casing for my previus iPad mini 5.

I didn't opt for Apple keyboard casing, because this iPad air 2020 still very new, so I'm hoping for better and cheaper version of keyboard casing from other brand.

Let's keep it short, why we MUST NOT buy this Metropolis Series Ipad Air 10.9" casing!

This is the product I've just received yesterday (the same day i received it), so then I posted a negative review (1 star) on their website, but it got removed today. It worth some attentions on the internet so other buyer don't fall into buying their unfinished product.

Yes, I'm truly not happy about this product! Unacceptable!

On one side of the casing, it looks like someone just simply cut out an opening room for user to access to the Touch ID button. It look more like an inferior product to me! Even if they want to do this, they should make the finishing look smooth or in a cleaner finishing cutting, at least not this ugly!

who want to own a casing that look like this?

Look at the stuck out bit, the casing doesn't fit well with my iPad air 4 (2020).

From their product description webpage, their product picture, the curve edge finishing looks perfect and smooth.





After I did some search around in their website, I found that they actually used an iPad Pro 11" case (2020) and did the ugly handwork on my casing and ship to me.


Now I see they are same model of casing, but the only different here is just that my iPad Air 4 case has part of them cut out for the Touch ID button.



In conclusion, my first UAG casing (iPad mini 5) is flawless, I love the casing so much, that's when UAG earned my trust so much. And then this is my 2nd purchase of this UAG product, I'm truly disappointed by how they decided to treat customer's purchase experience in such manner.

Nitecore UMS4 Battery Charger

Tl;dr: New version of nitecore UMS4 has an insignificant problem, energy saving mode won't activated. The screen won't go dim after 3minutes as stated in the manual.  The negative pole (silver plate) different design is intended, only the older version has the "double tip points" design at the silver plate (negative pole). The day I received my order, Nitecore charger UMS4 from a seller in shopee.my, my experience with the purchase was like taking a rollercoaster. Reasons: - the product received is not look the same as advertised in the official Nitecore website . - the well-known electrical device reviewer has the UMS4 technical review published earlier, the author has attachment of the UMS4 model which clearly showing the silver negative pole has different design.
